On Tuesday at approximately 9:08 a.m., officers from the Goldsboro Police Department responded to a report of a breaking and entering that had already occurred at 523 E. Ash St., Tobacco World &Vape.
The business reported approximately $1,390 worth of merchandise stolen by two suspects after they forced entry into the business at approximately 3:30 a.m.
After an investigation was conducted, a suspect was developed.
Officers went to a residence in an attempt to locate the suspect.
When officers arrived at the residence, they were able to locate both juvenile suspects together. The juvenile suspects were not related.
The stolen merchandise was recovered and returned to the business. Both suspects were charged on juvenile petitions.
One suspect, a 12-year-old black male, was charged with breaking and entering, larceny, possession of stolen property, larceny of a firearm, and possession of a stolen firearm.
A second suspect, a 15-year-old white male, was charged with breaking and entering, larceny, and possession of stolen property.
