Boil Water Advisory Lifted in Goldsboro

Boil Water Advisory Lifted in Goldsboro

The boil water advisory for City of Goldsboro water customers on Slocumb Street from Day Circle to Seymour Homes has been lifted.

Laboratory analysis of water samples has confirmed that the water is safe for human consumption. Residents in the affected area are no longer required to boil water used for human consumption.

Customers may continue to experience discolored water. To clear up the discoloration, the city advises running cold water through your bathtub or other faucets for 5 to 10 minutes.

If discoloration persists after performing these measures, please contact the Distributions and Collections division immediately at (919) 734-8674.
