Connie Mae Jackson Bashore, 67, passed away at her home on Friday, October 11, 2024. Born in Sampson County on April 2, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Robert Jackson and Johnnie Mae Lee Jackson.

Connie is survived by her children, Sean Kennedy and wife, Karen, and Renee Kennedy; grandchildren, Chase Kennedy and Kyra Kennedy; siblings, John Jackson, Brenda Jackson Wilson, Anne Myers, and Sharon Bass; and father of her children and love of her life, Danny Kennedy. Connie is also survived by many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

For over 27 years, Connie worked at Food Lion as a product specialist. Connie’s main goal in life was to help others. Her heart of gold was evident in her everyday life. For many years, Connie volunteered with Faison Fire and Rescue. Connie had an artistic side to her as well. She could often be seen crocheting, painting, and other forms of arts and crafts.

A memorial service to celebrate Connie’s life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be sent to Faison Fire and Rescue, 108 SW Center St, Faison, NC 28341 or to Halls Fire Department, 7730 Hobbton Hwy, Clinton, NC, United States, North Carolina in memory of Connie.
