Sabrina Alma Taylor, 53, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. Born January 23, 1971, in Wayne County, she was the daughter of Carmen O’Quinn and the late Kenneth Blizzard.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Rhonda Blizzard.

A proud homemaker, Sabrina was known for her extraordinary strength and resilience, often likened to a Superwoman. She was a woman with a heart of gold, who embraced everyone she met, never meeting a stranger. Many referred to her as “mom,” reflecting the nurturing spirit she shared with those around her.

Sabrina had a passion for cooking, with tacos being one of her famous dishes. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the aroma of her culinary creations. As a single mom, she raised her sons with unwavering determination and a strong will, never giving up and teaching them the value of perseverance and kindness.

Sabrina was a devoted mother and friend. Her memory will linger in the hearts of her 4 favorite sons, Tyler Taylor, Hunter Taylor (Brooke), Joshua Frizzelle, and Justin Frizzelle, and her mother, Carmen O’Quinn. Her unconditional love for them will continue to be the glue that binds them together. She is also survived by her siblings, Michelle Richardson (Joe), Robert O’Quinn, and Derrick Warren, and her cherished nieces and nephews, Joe Richardson Jr, Michael Richardson, Amber O’Quinn, and Cameron O’Quinn. Her legacy of love and strength will be remembered by all whose lives she touched.

A service to celebrate her life will be held, Sunday, October 13, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Andy Stovall officiating. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
