Highway Patrol Asking for Information in September Hit-and-Run

The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is seeking any information from the public to help identify a pedestrian killed in a motor vehicle collision on Sept. 28.

The collision occurred on US 117 at Genia Crossing Dr. in Mar-Mac at 10:26 p.m.

The deceased is a Hispanic male approximately 23-26 years old, 120-145 lbs, and 5’-5’3” tall.

He has a tattoo on his right arm of the Grim Reaper.

Any information leading to the identity of the deceased can be relayed by calling the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, Wayne County District Office at (919) 344-0225, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
