The Wayne County Solid Waste Department announces that the Rosewood Recycling & Convenience Center, located at 370 Braswell Road, will be temporarily closed on Thursday and Friday for necessary repaving work.
During this time, residents are encouraged to use other nearby recycling and convenience centers, including:
- Pikeville Recycling & Convenience Center – 766 Hinnant Road, Pikeville
- Patetown Recycling & Convenience Center – 593 Daw Pate Road, Goldsboro
- Fremont Recycling & Convenience Center – 347 Rateice Road, Fremont
The County of Wayne apologizes for any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause and appreciates the community’s patience as it makes these improvements to better serve you. The center will reopen on Saturday, weather permitting.
