The O’Berry Center Foundation is hosting a fall vendor fair and quarter event beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday at 400 Old Smithfield Road.
The vendor fair will feature a variety of vendors including Girl Scouts as well as food and cotton candy for purchase.
There will also be Individuals on hand sharing information on insurance and other resources to assist families of those born with developmental challenges.
The quarter event which begins at 4 p.m., is a “quarter auction,” where participants purchase a paddle for a quarter, and if the number on their paddle is pulled from a bingo-style ball machine, they win the donated item being bid on at the time.
“We have all kinds of items that have been donated for the quarter event,” O’Berry Center Foundation Executive Director Michelle Tucker. “For example, we have a ladies’ gift basket worth $150. “All of the proceeds from the quarter event go to assist people born with developmental disabilities, as well as grants and scholarships available through the O’Berry Center Foundation.”
Anyone looking to assist the O’Berry Foundation can donate items, volunteer, and share information about the organization through its social media pages.
