Pairings for the North Carolina High School Athletic Association state football playoffs are scheduled to be released on Sunday.

Locally, Rosewood (5-5) and North Duplin (9-0) will be in the 1-A state playoffs. The Rebels captured the Carolina 1-A Conference championship.

Neuse 6 2-A Conference champion Eastern Wayne (8-2), and Princeton (6-4) will be in the 2-A state playoffs.

Quad County 3-A Conference champion C.B. Aycock (10-0) will participate in the 3-A state playoffs.
