Susan Jean Rich, 72, passed away suddenly on Monday, November 18, 2024 at her home. Susan was born in Belleville, Illinois to the late Leonard G. Nevenner, Jr. and Ann Marie Freiderich Nevenner on January 30, 1952.

Susan served as the office manager for Southco Distributing for many years. Dedicated to her family, Susan took great concern for the well-being of her family. She kept in close contact with her siblings and extended family and always made sure they knew she was thinking of them.

After meeting her husband, Mike, Susan knew from the first date that he was the one for her. Recognizing that they had both found the perfect match, they were married and enjoyed life together for 52 years. Susan was a wonderful wife and best friend to Mike. Time spent with her husband traveling across the world was always a highlight for Susan.

At her request, no formal service will be held.

Susan is survived by her husband, Mike Rich; God-daughter, Amanda Sue Brown (Joshua); sisters, Lynn Jett (Mike), Debra Buchanan (Mike), and Cindy Long (Steve); twin brothers, Terry Nevenner (Lana) and Jerry Nevenner (Cindy); and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews she loved very much.

Services are entrusted to Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
