The County of Wayne has announced the following closings in observance of Thanksgiving:

• County of Wayne Government Offices closed Thursday and Friday. Offices will re-open on Monday for normal business hours.
• All branches of the Wayne County Public Library will close at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday and will remain closed on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Library branches will re-open on Monday for normal business hours.
• The Peggy M. Seegars Senior Center will be closed on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The Senior Center will re-open Monday for normal business hours.
• The Wayne County landfill and convenience centers will be closed Thursday. The landfill and convenience centers will re-open Friday for normal business hours.
• The Wayne County Animal Shelter will be closed on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The Animal Shelter will re-open on Monday for normal business hours.
