This week, Wayne County Public Schools students will spread holiday cheer through festive songs and melodies at the annual district-wide Choral Showcase, with performances being held on Wednesday and Thursday at the Dillard Middle School auditorium.
This is a change in venue from previous years due to construction.
This is the 23rd year of the annual holiday showcase. The showcase first began in 2001 with 12 schools participating. This year, students will be participating from 21 schools.
“The Choral Showcase is a highlight for our music and choral programs,” said Christine White, Title IV Enrichment Facilitator. “I appreciate the efforts of our students, teachers, and choral instructors who have spent the past few months preparing for this special two-night event.”
