On Monday, Wayne Preparatory Academy announced the appointment of its new Executive Director, John Drake, who will officially join the school on Jan. 3.

Drake brings a wealth of experience, dynamic leadership, and a deep passion for education that perfectly aligns with our mission and vision.

Drake’s journey as an educator includes two decades of service as a teacher, coach, and administrator. His experiences range from serving in both private and public schools throughout Georgia, Florida, and North Carolina.

Drake joins Wayne Prep at an exciting time as it builds on the positive momentum from the past year, and his expertise will be instrumental in guiding Wayne Prep toward continued success.

We are confident he will work collaboratively with families, staff, and the wider community to create even greater opportunities for our students.

Mr. Drake says he is “extremely excited to be part of the WPA family” and that it is his “firm belief that WPA will continue to build upon its foundation of excellence, and soar to new heights in the near future.”
