CALYPSO — The Town of Calypso’s Christmas parade is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Saturday.

The parade will line up at 2 p.m. on North First Street.

The parade route will follow East Albritton, NE Center Street, Trade Street, and First Street.

There is no fee to enter the parade and parade entrants are still being accepted.

Instead of a parade entry fee, new unwrapped toys are being accepted for western North Carolina.

Following the parade, the Town of Calypso will hold Christmas in the Park at Albritton Park with visits from Santa, local entertainment, tree lighting, activities for kids, and letters to Santa.
