On Tuesday at approximately 10:30 a.m., officers with the Goldsboro Police Department responded to First Bank, located at 431 N. Spence Ave., for a report of robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Employees of the business reported that a white male threatened employees and demanded U.S. currency.

The subject fled the business with an undisclosed amount of currency.

The Goldsboro Police Department’s Investigative Services Bureau was contacted and responded to the scene. Public assistance is being requested in this case.

The attached image shows the male suspect wearing a blue medical mask, gray gloves, and a camouflage jacket.
