MOUNT OLIVE — Wayne Prep and Wayne Country Day advanced to the finals of the 12th annual Greater Neuse Fellowship of Christian Athletes Winter Classic during Saturday’s second round at Kornegay Arena on the campus of the University of Mount Olive.
The tournament concludes on Monday with four games, including the championship game slated to start at 7.
Wayne Country Day is seeking its third consecutive Winter Classic championship.
A women’s Winter Classic is being held Dec. 27-28 and 30 at Lenoir Community College.
