WCDS Captures Third Consecutive FCA Winter Classic

MOUNT OLIVE — Wayne Country Day captured its third consecutive Greater Neuse Fellowship of Christian Athletes Winter Classic championship with a 74-38 victory over Wayne Prep on Monday evening at Kornegay Arena on the campus of the University of Mount Olive.

The Chargers’ (14-3) Marcel Freeman surpassed the 2,000-point mark for his career during the victory.
