Goldsboro, NC – As the year draws to a close, United Way of Wayne County invites the community to help make the final strides toward meeting this year’s Community Campaign goal of $850,000. Thanks to the generous support of donors, the campaign is currently at 83% of its target. However, there is still work to be done to ensure that vital resources remain available to those in need within Wayne County.
United Way of Wayne County is celebrating its 100th year in 2025 and remains steadfast in its commitment to improving lives and strengthening the local safety net of resources. The funds raised this year directly support programs that address critical issues such as education, health, financial stability, and basic needs.
As the campaign approaches its conclusion on December 31, 2024, United Way of Wayne County is asking the community to come together once more to help bridge the gap. Every dollar contributed stays in Wayne County to make a meaningful difference.
