Mr. Andre Mishael Brinson, 59, completed his earthly journey and transitioned from labor to reward, Sunday, December 15, 2024 at home surrounded by his loved ones. The celebration of his life will be Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 1:00 PM at J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel ,1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
Andre ‘Dre” Brinson was born to the late Alex C. Brinson and Esther D. Ford Brinson in Goldsboro, NC on April 27, 1965. He transitioned and departed this earthly life on December 15, 2024, in Raleigh, NC surrounded by family.
Andre attended Eastern Wayne High School where he became an all around athlete and one of the most popular and well-liked individiuals of the school. He went on to graduate from Eastern Wayne High School and joined the United States Marine Corps. Dre was a God fearing man that loved nothing more than talking about faith, mercy and grace. He loved telling corny jokes. If you asked him, he thought he was as funny as Fred Sanford. His laugh and smile could go on for days.
Andre is survived by his long time partner Bridget Graham, his son , Andre Mishael Brinson II ( Ashley) and his four grandchildren, Armel, Zakiya, Aubreyana and Romonte, his three brothers, Alex “Peanut” (Vergie), Anthony Ford (Donna),and Alvin Brinson, three sisters, Vanessa “Spanky” Ford Brinson, Veronica Brinson and Bettina Brinson, seven nieces and nephews, 17 great nieces and nephews and one great-great niece.
