He was born to Bishop Carlton Jackson Sr. & The late Evangelist Bertha Jackson
He was preceded in death by his mother and daughter Erika Frye.

He attended Wayne County Public Schools and earned several certificates in Computer Technology. He was a diehard Cowboys fan, and he loved fishing, especially on the coast. His favorite gospel artists was his sisters The Anointed Jackson Sisters. He enjoyed attending their rehearsals and putting in his opinion of the rehearsal’s inspirational atmosphere. Carlton loved all his family far and near, and he loved his 2 dogs Symbol, and Littlegirl, who he truly adored. Carlton was a faithful church supporter and enjoyed attending despite his health challenges.
