Roland Franklin Honeycutt, 64, passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at his home. Franklin was born in Wayne County to the late Bobby and Evonne Honeycutt on February 29, 1960.

Frankie had worked as a carpenter for many years but his greatest joy was when he could cast a line at his favorite fishing spot.

A celebration of Frankie’s life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 3, 2025, at Seymour Funeral Home. The family will greet friends following the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of Teresa and Allen Best, 303 White Oak Road, Goldsboro.

Frankie is survived by his son, Franklin Alexander Honeycutt of Ridgeville, SC; the mother of his son, Leona Thayer Gooding of Ridgeville, SC; bonus son, Jerry, and his children who called Frankie “grandpa,” Jerry Jr. and Carleigh; brother, Doug Honeycutt and wife, Kim of Pikeville; and sisters, Kim Reeves and husband, David of Mount Airy and Joy McCrimmon and husband, Scott of Four Oaks.

Services are entrusted to Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
