On Saturday at approximately 11:24 p.m., officers with the Goldsboro Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 400 block of N. James St. for a report of a stabbing.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with several individuals. 

Shameka McAllister, 32, was suffering from a stab wound to her shoulder.

McAllister was taken to UNC Heath Wayne for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Yatazia Davis, 26, was detained for further investigation. 

The Investigative Services Bureau was contacted and responded to the scene.

No charges have been filed at this time pending further investigation. This case is still active.
