On Monday at approximately 10:08 p.m., officers from the Goldsboro Police Department were dispatched to the 500 block of Day Circle for a report of a burglary.

Morris, 40, Kimyotta, 39,  and Sanayah Williams, 21, reported that a group of males forced entry into the apartment and brandished firearms.

The subjects took a firearm and U.S. currency from the residence.

Morris Williams was assaulted during the incident.

His injuries were not life-threatening.

The Goldsboro Police Department’s Investigative Services Bureau was contacted and responded to the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
