Goldsboro Police Department Encourages Residents to Bring Pets Indoors

With ongoing cold temperatures and winter weather forecast for Wayne County on Friday evening, the Goldsboro Police Department is encouraging residents to bring their pets indoors.

Pets should be kept inside during cold weather, and should not be left outside for long periods in below-freezing temperatures.
Pets can be susceptible to frostbite and hypothermia in cold weather, just like people.

Remember, if it’s too cold for you, it’s probably too cold for your pet, so keep your animals inside.
