Keith Anthony Wade of Goldsboro, NC, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 5, 2025. Keith was born in Garden City, Michigan on May 8, 1949 to the late John Robert Wade and Victoria Barbaza Wade. In addition to his parents, Keith was preceded in death by his brother, Blaine Wade.
Following graduation, Keith enlisted with the United States Air Force and served 23 years for his country. He will always be remembered for his incredible intelligence, his wonderful sense of humor and his patriotism. He protected his country and her allies on multiple deployments. Keith’s valor and skill was recognized with numerous decorations.
After his retirement from the Air Force, Keith continued to work with Security Moving and Storage and later with Fayetteville Moving and Storage.
Keith was a man of strong faith and worshiped with the congregation at St. Michael’s Catholic Church on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus and served as a Eucharistic Minister and Lector at the church until his health no longer allowed him to serve.
A memorial service will take place in the month of March. The date and time will be announced in the near future. Inurnment will be in the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.
Keith is survived by his wife of 52 years, Debbi Wade; children, Lance Wade and wife, Denise and Brandi Kramer and husband, Willie; grandchildren, Brandon Wade, Bridgette Wade, Grey Wade, Conner Wade, Alyssa Kramer and Landyn Kramer; sisters, Vikki Robinson, Pam Garton and Jill Marek; and brother, Robby Wade.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Keith’s memory to the Knights of Columbus Council 5487, P.O. Box 10025, Goldsboro, NC 27532.
