On Dec. 27, Wayne County Sheriff’s Office Patrol “B” Shift responded to a shooting into an occupied vehicle in the Southern end of the county.

Investigators arrived on the scene, began their investigation, and determined that no one was injured during the shooting.

As a result of this investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, Tamika Dawson, 45, and Jaylan Dawson, 18, both of 202 Wingspread Dr. Goldsboro, were each charged with discharging a weapon into occupied property, (3X) and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.

Tamika Dawson received a $120,000.00 bond, and Jaylan Dawson received a $100,000 bond.
