The Greater Goldsboro Road Run is being held at 9 a.m. on Mar. 29 at The Hub in downtown Goldsboro.
With the exception of 2020, the Greater Goldsboro Road Run has been held every year since 1979.
Join in on a time-honored running experience and partake in a run or walk on a USATF-certified route, mostly along streets adorned with azaleas and dogwood trees.
Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy The Hub and the enhanced streetscape improvements on Center Street.
The Run for a Child – 46th Annual Greater Goldsboro Road Run is organized by the Sunrise Kiwanis of Goldsboro.
This event serves as a fundraiser aimed at supporting our mission to assist the children and youth in our community.
The proceeds from sponsorships and participant registrations are allocated to provide financial support for over 20 local organizations that help underprivileged children and youth in Wayne County.
This year, the 10K run, 5K Run/Walk, and 1-mile Fun Run routes will take place downtown once again.
All events will begin near The Hub at the southeast corner of Center and Chestnut Streets in downtown Goldsboro, with a start time of 9:00 a.m. for all races.
Registration and Pre-Registration will be held at The Hub, located at 200 S. Center St., at the southeast corner of S. Center Street and W. Chestnut Street.
