The Wayne County Solid Waste Department has announced that the Jordans Chapel Recycling & Convenience Center, located at 689 S Jordans Chapel Rd, Mount Olive, will temporarily close on Feb. 7 for necessary repaving work.
During this time, residents are encouraged to use other nearby recycling and convenience centers, including:
- Grantham Recycling & Convenience Center – 565 Crowsfoot Road, Mount Olive
- Dudley Recycling & Convenience Center – 460 S Landfill Road, Dudley
The County of Wayne apologizes for any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause and appreciates the community’s patience as it makes these improvements to serve the community better.
The center will reopen on Feb. 8, weather permitting.
