MOUNT OLIVE — The Town of Mount Olive issued a statement on Monday that two town employees were under investigation by the State Bureau of Investigation.

The employees have been suspended without pay effective on the afternoon of Jan. 30.

The names of the two employees under investigation have not been released.

No further information can be released at this time due to the ongoing investigation.
