SEVEN SPRINGS — On Saturday, at approximately 10:00 a.m., the Mount Olive Police Department initiated an investigation into the disappearance of Antonio Hernandez Sanches, 23, who was reported missing by family members.
Sanches, a Hispanic male, was last seen at his workplace, Mount Olive Pickle Company, on Thursday, at approximately 2:30 PM.
His vehicle was later found at Cliffs of the Neuse State Park, a location he routinely visits for fishing.
A coordinated search effort is currently underway, involving multiple agencies, including the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, Mount Olive Police Department, NC State Parks, Arr-Mac Water Response Team, and Seven Springs Fire Department.
Search teams are actively working in and around Cliffs of the Neuse State Park to locate Sanches.
