The United Way of Wayne County has announced it received a generous donation from TA Loving in celebration of both organizations’ 100th anniversaries.
This contribution will directly support the United Community Assistance Network (UCAN), United Way’s direct service program designed to connect individuals and families with essential resources and assistance.
With this donation, the United Way of Wayne County will expand its capacity, to serve as a hub for community resources, ensuring more individuals in need receive timely and effective support. UCAN provides vital services, including housing assistance, food support, transportation aid, and other critical resources to help families regain stability.
“We are incredibly grateful for TA Loving’s commitment to strengthening our community,” said Sherry Archibald, Executive Director of United Way of Wayne County. “Their support will allow us to enhance the UCAN program, helping more individuals and families access the assistance they need to thrive.”
As both TA Loving and United Way of Wayne County commemorate 100 years of service and impact, this partnership underscores a shared commitment to fostering a stronger, more resilient community.
“At TA Loving, we believe in giving back to the community that has supported us for a century,” said Paul Hunter, Senior Vice President of TA Loving. “United Way’s UCAN program is making a real difference in people’s lives, and we are honored to be part of that mission.”
The United Way of Wayne County invites the community to join in celebrating this milestone and to support the ongoing efforts to provide essential resources to those in need.
