Ronald Allen Elliott, 87, peacefully passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at UNC Health Wayne, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Winston-Salem on March 16, 1937, he was the son of the late Allen Paddison and Lucille Hampton Elliott.

In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Ballard Elliott and daughter, Audra Elliott Burke.

Ronald is survived by his daughter, Gina Elliott Futrell and husband, Michael; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Ronald worked for many years as an airplane mechanic and propeller specialist. He started his career with Piedmont Airlines which later became U.S. Airlines from where he retired after years of dedicated and faithful service.

A private service for the family will be held at a later date.
