On Jan. 29, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office Investigation Division conducted a field interview with Odell Copeland, 44, Eureka, at the Best Value 6 Motel.

Copeland was in possession of a Glock 45 caliber handgun.

As a result of this investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, Copeland was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, and possession of a stolen firearm.

Copelnd received a $15,000 bond.
