Henry Thomas Heath, 97, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family. Henry was born in Lenoir County to the late Henry Thomas Heath, Sr. and Gertrude Dawson Heath on October 21, 1927.

Upon graduation from high school, Henry faithfully served his county in the United States Army. He went on to farm the family farm and work at Caswell Center, retiring after twenty-two years of service.

An avid outdoorsman, Henry enjoyed time hunting and on the water fishing. A lifetime member of White Oak Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church, he was the oldest member and had served as a deacon for forty years.

A service of love and remembrance will be held by the graveside at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Bob Smith officiating.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 5:00 p.m – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 17, 2025 at Rouse Funeral Home.

Henry is survived by his wife of seventy-two years. Rebecca Heath; son, Tommy Heath and wife, Tammy; daughter, Diane Heath Bailly and husband, Larry; grandchildren, McKenzie Davis and husband, Andrew, Allyson Funtal and husband, Hunter, Jacob Lane, Gracie Lane, Brittany Lane, Katheryn Stubbs, Kristen Bailly, and Mika Bailly; and great-grandchildren, Heath and Piper.
