Jacqueline Williams Rhew, 70, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025 at her home. Jackie was born in Wayne County on July 9, 1954 to the late Lola Howell Williams. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Fuller Rhew.

Jackie loved books, animals, and going to the beach with her family. She never missed a chance to tell her son Capen that he was the greatest joy in her life.

Jackie’s family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff at Gentiva Hospice and to her caregiving team for their unwavering support and dedication during Jackie’s final days. Their compassionate care ensured she remained comfortable and surrounded by kindness. The care shown to both Jackie and her family will be forever appreciated.

The family will gather for a time of visitation on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.

Jackie is survived by her son, Capen Rhew and wife, Kori.
