The United Way of Wayne County is inviting the community to join in celebrating a historic milestone at its Annual Meeting at 8 a.m. on Feb. 25 at First Baptist Church of Goldsboro, at 125 S. John St.
This special event will commemorate 100 years of service in Wayne County and recognize the incredible success of the 2024 Community Campaign.
The Annual Meeting serves as a time to reflect on the impact made through the collective efforts of donors, businesses, and volunteers. The event will highlight the achievements of the 2024 Community Campaign, which has played a critical role in supporting essential programs and services for individuals and families in need.
In addition to celebrating the campaign’s success, United Way will recognize extraordinary workplace campaigns, dedicated volunteers, and community partners whose support has been instrumental in driving meaningful change.
“As we celebrate 100 years of service, we are reminded of the power of unity and generosity in strengthening our community,” said Sherry Archibald, Executive Director of United Way of Wayne County. “This Annual Meeting is not just a celebration of the past year’s campaign but a tribute to the countless individuals and organizations that have worked tirelessly over the past century to improve lives in Wayne County.”
