March 2, 2025, 85, Goldsboro — It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ms. Mildred R. Britt , 85 who transitioned from labor to reward, Sunday, March 02, 2025 at Wayne UNC Health in Goldsboro, North Carolina. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 12:00pm with a viewing from 11:00am to 11:50am at The Original Tabernacle of Prayer, 1005 S. John Street, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Elmwood Cemetery, 900 W. Brick Street (Hwy 117 Bypass), Goldsboro, NC.

She was born on July 26, 1939 in Greene County, NC Elijah Dixon and Bertha Hood Dixon. She is survived by her children, grandchildren and other loving relatives and friends.
