PIKEVILLE — The Pikeville Police Department recently expanded its law enforcement staff with the Swearing-In Ceremony of the department’s newest member, Officer D.J Holland.
Officer Holland took his Oath of Office with his mother, Mae, holding the Bible while his son, Jaxon, looked on.
His badge pinning was conducted by his fiance, Cheyenne.
Officer Holland comes to the department from the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office with experience and time served in the Wayne County Detention Center as well as the Wayne County Courthouse.
In addition, Officer Holland proudly served our country in the United States Army
Pikeville Police Chief Rodney Jarman is excited about the addition of Officer Holland who exhibits compassion, a desire to serve, and an eagerness that encompasses the core values and mission of the department.
