The Partnership for Children of Wayne County is hosting a pair of events on Apr. 8 at Herman Park in conjunction with The Week of the Young Child and Child Abuse Prevention Month. 

From 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 the Partnership for Children will hold “Picnic, Trains and Teddy Bear Games.” 

Parents are encouraged to bring their children and a picnic lunch to this free event featuring popcorn, snow cones, and free rides on the Kiwanis train.

From 4 p.m. to 6  the Partnership for Children will host “On the Right Track: Family Fun Day for Child Abuse Prevention.”

This free event will allow parents to connect with various resources in Wayne County, and there will be free train rides, popcorn, and snow cones.
