Congressman Don Davis Opens Three District Offices

Congressman Don Davis officially opened three new district offices in Northeast and Eastern North Carolina on Saturday.

These new offices, located in Goldsboro, Rocky Mount, and Elizabeth City, will provide residents with access to various services, including assistance with VA benefits, Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, passport services, the IRS, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, and more.

“We are deeply committed to supporting our constituents. Every congressional office reflects our heartfelt dedication to these communities and the entire district. We’re here to lend a helping hand to families,” said Congressman Don Davis. “It’s crucial that every resident in our district feels connected and has access to us. Our top priority is serving our constituents.”

The North Carolina General Assembly, which defines congressional districts electing members of Congress, redrew the map through Session Law 2023-145 used for the 2024 election due to legal challenges that took effect Jan. 3.

North Carolina’s First Congressional District went from 19 to 22 counties. State legislators drew Pitt and Franklin counties out of the new congressional district and added Wayne, Lenoir, Currituck, Camden, and Granville counties.

The new district office locations are as follows:

Goldsboro Office

Address: 2803 Cashwell Drive, Suite B, Goldsboro, NC 27534

Rocky Mount Office

Address: 1151 Falls Road, Suite 2002, Rocky Mount, NC 27804

Elizabeth City Office

Address: 306 E Colonial Avenue, Elizabeth City, NC 27909

The North Carolina First Congressional District includes Bertie, Camden, Chowan, Currituck, Edgecombe, Gates, Granville (part), Greene, Halifax, Hertford, Martin, Nash, Northampton, Lenoir, Pasquotank, Perquimans, Tyrrell, Vance, Warren, Washington, Wayne, and Wilson counties.

Congressman Davis also plans to provide mobile office hours in the 19 counties without offices. “We are here to serve everyone,” added Congressman Davis. Constituents can contact Congressman Davis’ office at (252) 999-7600.

Congressman Don Davis serves as the vice ranking member of the House Armed Services Committee and the House Agriculture Committee, where he is the ranking member of the Commodities Market, Digital Assets, and Rural Development Subcommittee.

Davis co-chairs the For Country Caucus. He graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1994 and is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
