The Wayne County Museum is hosting a May Day Festival from 1 p.m. to 3 on Apr. 12, at 116 N. William Street, in downtown Goldsboro.
The festival with feature a reader’s theater performance, face painting, a scavenger hunt, and arts and crafts.
May Day is a European festival of ancient origins marking the beginning of summer, usually celebrated on May 1 around halfway between the Northern Hemisphere’s Spring Equinox and June Solstice.
