Mount Olive Women’s Golf Finishes 3rd at Conference Carolinas Championship

SNOW HILL, N.C. – Behind a standout performance from sophomore Lucie Levet, the University of Mount Olive women’s golf team surged to a third-place finish at the 2024 Conference Carolinas Championship at Cutter Creek Golf Club.

The Trojans climbed two spots on the final day, posting a team score of 72-over 936 (311-325-300). UMO placed four golfers in the top 20 and earned a top-three finish in the league championship for the fourth time in five years.

Levet earned all-tournament honors for the second straight year after shooting a career-best nine-over 225 (76-76-73) and tying for third overall. Junior Aoi Ito tied for 12th with a 19-over 235, while Valentina Agostino (T-15th) and Victoria Morelli (T-19th) also cracked the top 20.

Erskine captured its first Conference Carolinas title, with Emmanuel placing second. Emmanuel’s Keely Johnson won individual medalist honors in a playoff after tying with Abigail Cheney of Shorter at 224.
