GOLDSBORO, N.C. – Job seekers and local businesses will come together this Thursday, April 10, for the 2025 Career Expo & Job Fair, hosted by the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce. The event, free and open to the public, will take place from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Maxwell Center and is geared toward connecting adults with employment and educational advancement opportunities.

Residents from Wayne, Lenoir, Greene, Wilson, Johnston counties—and beyond—are encouraged to attend dressed in business casual attire with résumés in hand for the chance to participate in on-the-spot interviews with local employers.

Earlier in the day, from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM, the Career Expo portion of the event will welcome high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors to explore career paths across all 16 career clusters. Exhibitors will be on-site showcasing interactive displays, hands-on demonstrations, and personal success stories to inspire the next generation of workers.
