With profound sorrow and empathy, the management and staff of Williams & Ashford Funeral Directors join with the Hodges and connected families to announce the earthly transition of Mr. Jimmy Lee Hodges, 63, of Goldsboro, NC.

Mr. Jimmy Lee Hodges was born to Furney Waylon Hodges and Maggie Frances Pollard in the beautiful Pitt County, NC, on October 1, 1961. He received a solid education from the Pitt County school system and proudly graduated from D.H. Conley High School. Before his passing, Jimmy embraced Jesus with all his heart, finding peace in the knowledge that he is now reunited with his beloved mother in heaven.

In September 2008, he embarked on a fulfilling journey with Carlie C’s, dedicating over 15 years to the company and leaving a lasting impact on all who worked alongside him.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his loving parents, Furney Waylon Hodges and Maggie Frances Pollard; his brothers, Donnie Hodges and William Herbert Hodges; and his sisters, Francene Hodges Hardy and Linda K. Hodges .

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Cynthia Moore Hodges, who remained a steadfast companion; his cousin, Linda Smith Sugg; a sister Ruby Noris Hodges Balance; his son, Jimmy Lee Hodges, Jr.; and his nieces and nephew, Tammy Hardy, Angela Hodges Prayer and Alton Hardy. Jimmy’s spirit will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory lives on in the hearts of his family and friends, a testament to a life well-lived.
