Clouds Couldn’t Dampen Spirits at Mount Olive’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Clouds Couldn’t Dampen Spirits at Mount Olive’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt

MOUNT OLIVE, NC – Despite the cold, cloudy day, Mount Olive First PH Church members were awake early Saturday morning, getting ready for their beloved annual Easter Egg Hunt at Westbrook Park. The holiday community event started at 11 a.m. and maintained the excitement through 2 p.m., drawing families from across the region.

The affair offered something for everyone—food-filled tables, busy games for the kids, and three distinct egg hunt sections that catered to various ages, all of which promised an excellent and fair experience for everyone. With the noise of laughter throughout the park and children racing all over the grass in search of treasures cached, the weather was barely even noticed.

Organizers at church report it’s more than celebrating Easter – it’s a celebration that brings people of the community together, whether sunshine or showers.
