GOLDSBORO – Saturday marked the 2025 “We Dig It!” Farm Fest! The Farm Fest is an event that brings out and gives the spotlight to Wayne County’s largest industry – Agriculture.
This was the time to come on out and show support to your local farmers, educational agriculture programs, along with other vendors that take the time to grow, teach, and supply within the city of Goldsboro.
There was live music, vendor booths, and many family-friendly farm activities such as:
- Tracker Trail Ride
- The Farmer’s Market
- Farm Animals
- Free Raffle
The Farm Credit Farmer’s Market also took the initiative to be open, allowing the participants who attended to have exposure to their local farmers and other vendors within the community. The turnout was successful and left a great impression on the people who attended. Hopefully, this strikes the process of planning Farm Fest 2026.
