Diane Langen Bland, 82, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. Born in Maryland on July 23, 1942, she was the daughter of the late William Ewald Langen and Eva Bernice Thomas Langen.
In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Benny Benton Bland, and her son, Steven Craig Bland.
She is survived by her devoted son, Michael Ray Bland.
Diane worked for many years as a dedicated medical secretary with Family Medicine Center in Mount Olive. She and her husband Benny shared a love for travel and spent many cherished years exploring the country together.
A graveside service to honor and celebrate Diane’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
