Goldsboro, N.C. — Music lovers in Wayne County are in for a treat as Wayne Community College’s Bison Community Concert Band presents its annual spring concert on Thursday, May 8 at 7 p.m. The performance will take place in Moffatt Auditorium inside the Wayne Learning Center—the college’s main building, easily recognized by the flag poles in front.
The event is free and open to the public, promising a diverse musical experience under the direction of Dr. William Ford. Attendees can expect an enjoyable evening filled with tunes spanning multiple genres, including blues, ragtime, marches, and selections from well-known musicals.
The Bison Community Concert Band brings together musicians of all skill levels to collaborate, rehearse weekly, and share their love of music with the community. In addition to their semester-end performances at WCC, the ensemble regularly participates in local events throughout the year.
