The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office responded to a business on the 100 block of Five Points Road on Thursday for a welfare check on a customer.  Deputies arrived and started interacting with the customer, identified as 28-year-old Casey R. Maddox of Dudley.  During the investigation, the deputies allegedly discovered illegal controlled substances within Maddox’s property.  Maddox was arrested for Possession of Cocaine and Possession of MDMA.  He was placed into the Wayne County Jail under a $1,000 secured bond.
