Authorities have identified the pilot that perished in a Wayne County helicopter crash.  According to the State Highway Patrol, 65-year-old Eugene J. Kritter, III of Culpepper, Va was killed when the aircraft went down in a cornfield off Daw Pate Road north of Goldsboro Thursday evening.  Investigators say the helicopter was spraying crops when it came into contact with a utility tension cable leading to the crash.  The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board are expected at the scene to work on the investigation today.  A salvage crew has been called in to remove the downed helicopter.
