Mr. Luis Salazar Lopez, Jr., age 82, long time resident of the Beautancus community, Mount Olive, passed away Friday, July 10, 2020.

The Lopez family will have a viewing and gathering for family and friends at Tyndall Funeral Home on Thursday, July 16, from 10 a.m. until noon, followed by graveside rites at 12:30 p.m. in the Calypso Cemetery. Family will also be receiving guests at the homeof Monica & Jorge Huizar.

Mr. Lopez was retired after having assisted many farmers with their farming operations.

His wife, Florinda Flores Lopez and a son, Luis Flores Lopez, Jr. are deceased.
He is survived by six daughters and spouses, Guadalupe Lopez Lucio and Ruben Lucio; Monica Lopez Huizar and Jorge Huizar; Amparo Lopez Ramon and Orasio Ramon, Sr.; Romelia Esparza Lopez and Rogelio Esparza Rozales; Esmeralda Lopez Perez and Justino Perez; and Zulema Lopez Montez and Jose Jesus Montez; two sons, Eloy Flores Lopez, and Luciana Flores Lopez and spouse, Wanda Lopez; 78 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
